Banking will get a lot simpler for many U.S. Bank members at the college on March 25.

The U.S. Bancorp has partnered with the college to hold one of their on-site location banks just behind the college Starbucks on the second floor of the SSC.

According to Corporate Public Relations of U.S. Bancorp Patrick Swanson, the college is not the first the receive a fully working bank inside the campus, but so have 4 more colleges in the area including Northwestern University and Triton College.

“As the largest community college in the U.S. outside of the state of California, College of DuPage is a great opportunity for U.S. Bank to grow our business and help young people achieve financial success,” Swanson said.

The U.S. Bank will have four full time employees in the bank for students, faculty and staff’s needs.

Not only are the employees full-time, but the branch will be a full-service branch making it easier for students or faculty and staff to receive help with their financing.

U.S. Bank will be offering financial education and wellness seminars for all community members at the college once it is up and running.

The official opening of the bank will be on March 25 with a possible ribbon cutting after the date and will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
