The massage therapy program has opened up a massage clinic in SRC 1110. The clinic offers a variety of massages such as Swedish Wellness, Deep Tissue, and many others. It is $54.00 for a full hour and everyone gets $10.00 off his or her first visit.

“The massage therapy program hopes to raise awareness about health and wellness with this new addition to the college,” commented Patricia O’Shaughnessy, program coordinator and licensed massage therapist.

It is open to the general public and there are six therapists on staff. Each specializes in a certain kind of massage. The clinic is open Mondays through Thursdays 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Fridays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m; and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon. Appointments are required 12 hours in advance. “Sessions are scheduled an hour and fifteen minutes apart, so everyone is guaranteed a full hour of a massage,” added O’Shaugnessy.
